Making a half-decent system worse...?I want to ditch the 1 into 2 carb cable splitter and install a dual cable throttle, but need to retain a starter button and kill switch, so what have others done?
Thanks
Thanks for your continued sarcasm, but there's always room for improvement and the dual splitter hangs up no matter how its routed. If you don't have a sensible answer, don't bother!Making a half-decent system worse...?

In cable adjusters as on British bikes are very practical, be it for carb balancing or clutch free play.Funniest mod what I have heard (I have no personal experiences about this) is to install rapid adjustment screws for the dual cable setup.
It was stated that the cables can be balanced in a couple of seconds when waiting at the traffic lights.
Only SFCs had dual cables. Both my 1968 and 1969 750's have the splitter. They never had two cables at the throttle? That was how I bought them and they had been sitting since the early 1970's. Other very early 750's I have seen, also have the splitter.
Here is an early one (not my bike).
