Round 1 at The Bend this weekend.


Yesterday, the Redax race bikes were loaded up with Matt and Richard's BMW race bikes.
Red is out on the road this morning heading south for The Bend race circuit way over in SA.

Perhaps the circuit should be renamed the 'Bland' judging by the views. However, that's not a judgement on the actual track layout which, for all I know, might be quite a fun circuit to ride.

Perhaps the circuit should be renamed the 'Bland' judging by the views. However, that's not a judgement on the actual track layout which, for all I know, might be quite a fun circuit to ride.

The area has an average rainfall of approx 350 mls, sandy soil, they don't call us the driest state in Oz for nothing. And we farm it.

Very lucky that the bend got built and it caters to quite a few motor sport categories.
I've been out on the track a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Looks like a really well set up circuit, Red. Someone put some real dough into it. As for the terrain, anyone who's travelled in that area knows what 'flat' means! I'm sure the circuit offers fantastic racing. Best of luck for the weekend, Red.
