Burning Cash for nothing

I just had a look at the gauge in my compressor airline and your correct Cam, it tops out at 220psi. Most pop-off valves on Compressors I have used are set at 120psi, the air tools work in that range. And who other than Racing Pushbikes goes even close to 100psi. Why make a gauge that goes to 220 psi on a machine that never tops 120 with tiny increments around the 20 to 50 range you need a Magnaphying glass to read.

and while the garage was back to a bare shell I piped an air distribution system through the walls with five outlet points around the garage
You'll soon be kicking yourself for not installing more! Air outlets are just like power points, you never have enough...

My workshop is maybe half as big as yours, I have 6 outlets and am always one short.

All the best for the re-build.

The first air hose I bought was one of those curly wurly type, I had never used one in the few Joinery Shops I worked in. Usually just straight hose. And I found out why. The curly one went into the bin very quickly, you couldn't stop it from tangling.

My battery Milwaukee compressor is a little ripper. Getting ready for picking last weekend I inflated the tyres on sack trolleys, picking tables, trailers, ride-on and the forklift tractor (Orange Italian triple) a matter of minutes. Preset the pressure you need, screw the hose on and hit the button. Seconds later the jobs done, where ever the equipment is.
