Cam chain for 500 Lav

Hi Guys,
New to this so please excuse the directness.

Has any body got a clue to where I can find a Cam Chain for a 500 Monoshocked Monty.

Probably wrapped around the bottom of the crankshaft and the cam sprockets in most 500 engines.....
Seriously though, it is an issue which hopefully will be resolved by Regina making another few miles of it.
In the meantime it’s just a case of asking around. Also try other Italian bike parts supplies like Guzzi.

I have a new chain for a 500 somewhere in the garage.
Bought it from Andy the chain man before he retired.
I bought it as a spare for a converted mono shocked 600
I will find it in the morning.
I have a good few spares I need to really get rid off, a few 500 parts but mainly triple parts.

Miguel was also looking for one recently. I wonder how this is going to play out longer term? Can Regina be prevailed upon to do another run? Seems like stock is running out worldwide... I don't have a 500/668/750 so am not affected, but it's a concern if the little'uns can't be kept running due to something so fundamental. A conversion to 06B or a hyvo chain is not a small undertaking.

Sounds like my mono conversion is same as yours, however mine came as a few boxes of bits so not even sure ils all their.

I spoke to The Chain Man yesterday he has had a few enquiries so could turn into a problem.

(As discussed over on the Zané forum ...) Unless one (or more) of the dealers step in with a significant wad of cash and places a significant order with Regina, I can't see any new stock being manufactured.

The best way would be to join forces with the Guzzi V50 boys, how ever many of them there still are ...

112 link Iwis chain, split link type, originals had a wire link.
If you want it its £50 inc postage providing you live in uk.
Will go through other bits but will probably get daughter to put them on Internet as not sure of current prices
