65 or 70 pilots are totally wrong. You need to to look elsewhere for the solution = find the fault. I would be VERY surprised if a needle had any effect on lifting off idle.



Using full throttle as the guide might mean one slide rises 1mm before the other even leaves its idle stop, which means cruising at anything under about 100kph you're almost on one cylinder.

Using full throttle as the guide might mean one slide rises 1mm before the other even leaves its idle stop, which means cruising at anything under about 100kph you're almost on one cylinder. I forgot to mention the ear. Make sure that you hear the slides hit the idle screw at the same time. They'll lift at the same time.

Did you try the 50/3 slide? I think a 50 cutaway would flow less air than a 60, therefore richer pilot jet needed to match the 60 cutaway. The 3 ramp is the longest ramp.

Having just completed 1500 km on my S with idle jets down to 47 from 55 spec, I've decided to drop them to 45. It was a tad rich on the 47s.
Next, I'll be going down on the SF2, very likely too rich with the standard 55s.
