Think of all the shed time you're getting!

Over it Marty.......bikes are in fine fettle and just waiting to burst outta the gates !

Much rather be riding with me mates, then sitting down at the end of the day with a froffy in hand, laughing me arse off at the bullshit.
Then doin it all again the following day! have a hoot you blokes  (bikebend) (cheers)

Unless things change between now and november, maximum booking is 10.  I think we need to have some splitters!  Judean peoples front, and the peoples front of judea.  Club Laverda NSW and the Laverda Club of NSW?

What did the Italians ever do for The Peoples front of Breganze?!  :D

We do need to lock in the numbers promptly, accommodation in Dalgety is good so far but Tumut may pose a problem. I seem to remember that the local wood mills have an annual maintenance shut down and the town is fully booked out with maintenance contractors.
We've had accommodation issues there before.

It?s heartening to see so many Laverda out and about these days, and also to see the large number of members wanting to participate in this years Snowy Run, but given the latest Covid 19 restrictions group sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 for indoor gatherings. These restrictions may change in the near future, but as it stands 10 is the number.
If these guide lines are breached then all in attendance could be fined $1,000.00 plus the owner of the venue and the organisers facing much stiffer penalties. In the event of an infringement being noted Club Laverda NSW as well as Cimaa could face serious penalties, not a situation we wish to find ourselves in.
We then have 3 choices to make, either we strictly adhere to 10 participants only , re arrange the accommodation premises so that the group can be 10 or less at each venue, or cancel the event until restrictions are lifted.
Dalgetty unfortunately only has the one venue for sleeping and eating, the sight of 15 plus Laverda?s parked outside is bound to raise suspicions that would no doubt be confirmed by 20 or so riders wearing Laverda apparel congregating inside. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck then it must be a duck.

Comments welcome.

Looks like we are a victim of our own success. Everybody is tounging for a good ride after this shit year we have had. When I heard 19, its been a good while since we had that many. Just fuel stops become troublesome. I expect we at least need to be trying to do the right thing. Fucked if I know. It's hard enough to organise as one group, splitting into smaller bunches? There was options in Beradale we have used before, foods crap though. Any B and Bs in Dalgetty? I would HATE to see it canned but I guess we need some consensus about consucences.Fucked hell its some shit of a year

While clubs are allowed to plan events with greater numbers for the future (what the club is in effect doing now) the inforce rules at the time of the event must be carried out.  As currently 10 is the max inside number. Unless the inside number is raised to above 18 (current number of members who have indicated they will attend) The event should be cancelled. No happly but it is a major possibility. I suggest 10 days prior to the event.

This events night time gathering is exactly the sort of social gathering the rules are trying to stop.  Any effort to circumvent the indoor numbers will be see as just that.  As members have suggested it on a open public forum.

20 Laverda out side a pub is still 20 laverdas out side a pub group or no.

The fines for members and organisers for both Club Laverda NSW and the fact that CIMAA will be draged in to it when they have clearly stated no club gatherings.  Should clearly state this can be a large problem unless handled directly within the COVID rules

Yep, probably right. There are 50 days appox till the event and things are heading in the right direction in Victoria so maybe the rules might change by then, MAYBE.
