Club Laverda NSW 2025 Snowy Rally

Ok we are at 8 starters, I am going to start booking the accommodation this week. I will contact people individually to organise deposits into the club account.

Well, not really, we usually stay in old country pubs in the bush that charge $60 to $80 for a basic single room. But it gets a lot more in Touristy places, State Capital cities like Hobart, and that easily doubles, plus a bit.BTW, I am just happy Mr Moose is doing the organising. I really don't like sharing rooms. If you have ever tried sleeping in a bunk room with a bunch of snoring old barstards, who, typically, the second their head hits the pillow, the chainsawing starts, it gets old fast. Been there on Ski trips, Dirtbike trips, etc. So you take something really fun and turn it into a CIA torture trip. I like to refer to this as The Guantanamo Experience. By the 3rd day of zero sleep, it's not so much fun.

The fed and bed in Temora is beaut, old pub style, $110 twin share, great showers, good feed at the railway hotel last night, off in search of coffee now.

Stonies old 30th, easy to tell as he did not know what he had bought and decided to start removing the black finish on the engine covers before he met up with any Laverda club members, who promptly said, what the fuck are you doing
Just in time as well as he was preparing to paint the tank to remove that hand written "30th" that he thought some DPO had painted on it

That engine had around 70,000 klms on it when I rebuilt it and the middle main ball bearings on the crank were still intact
Changed them to roller bearings anyway
