Cool Videos

The name Fat Albert was already taken. Hey hey hey…..
I always thought the C-130 was named Fat Albert by the RAF ........... Now I find the name was coined by The Blue Angels display team in the USA , who use it in a support / display role .............

First the Fat Boy myth debunked ..... and now this ........... The whole world is falling apart around me ....... .............

Interesting. Possibly would have been more interesting if the article was condensed into 3 or 4 minutes instead of padding it out for 20, but good info anyway.
Also interesting to hear how far artificial voices have come!

Yep, painfully slow. But who knows if it's right. I never take as fact one random video these days. Penrite sell 3 types of there main stream Motocycle oil. is labelled as Mineral, semi Syinthetic and full synthetic, and each gets more expensive. And they also sell oil labelled as !0 !0ths, thats there full race oil, and it's even more expensive. They have pretty extensive tech sheets on the website. I would be pretty pissed off if the assertion that video makes about that court case was correct, though. It's named the biggest oil manufacturer and seller in Oz.

Our Shell rep reckoned the top two oils ( price wise) were the same but in different bottles & the 10w fork oil was the same as two stroke racing gearbox oil for moto x but again cheaper as fork oil. A guy who worked at the paint factory told me the boat anti foul was same as workshop floor paint- the workshop floor paint was “ frigate” grey.

I hope that workshop floor paint lasts longer than modern anti-fouling.
Check the product data sheets for the truth about your favourite oil. I have checked the data sheet for Mobil 1 4T Racing which I use, it says it is from synthetic base stocks, maybe open to interpretation in court. Castrol Edge says fully synthetic on the container but the data sheet just says it performs better than the leading full synthetic oil. My VW group turbo petrol engine car came new with a litre of Castrol Edge in the boot. The cam chain tensioner rattled at startup after a few thousand km using that oil. I changed to Mobil 1 and it was quiet, after recommendation from the car forum.
It might have turned into an oil thread but separating fact from fiction is good in any application.

Knocks one over at the start ..... no one`s perfect .

The stand down and hop off at the end is really cool ........ I`ll have to start practicing that ..........

We used to get the Japanese police riders that were training at Hendon come to our shop in Watford on a ride out- little guys wearing moto cross gloves smoking like a Russian steel works.

Apologies if you`ve seen this or it`s been on here before , but I`ve just stumbled across it ...........

1200 versus 1000 ....... or is it 2.857 versus 2.618 ..... or maybe 34/16 versus 40/19 ......... or who knows ?

Seeing the 1200 was produced primarily for the USA , then I guess it comes as no surprise that it was geared appropriately .........

( Although all triples followed suit eventually I believe , not withstanding mix and match sprockets ... ) ........

No Laverda content .... but always a pleasure to see something done well ............

Cagiva ( YPVS ) Mito 350 chews up and spits out countless Ducati ( Cagiva ) 916 / 996 / 998`s ........

( or maybe they`re all 748`s ..... that would explain it .... ) .........

Time to drag that Lesmo 350 out from the back of the shed ....... :) ............
