How do you tell a real factory built Jota?

you can lead a whore to culture but you cannot make her think

was modded from....... you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.

will people please stop saying "Slater Jota"

the cans which were UK made and fitted to Jota's were in the past, and on the continent known as "Slater pipes" that one I do actually like, for all the reasons that can be extracted from my previous posts.

Clem, I think you had explained it very well in your previous posts, but it quite likely this thread will just keep going around in ever diminishing circles.......:ROFLMAO:

I recently saw some brochure pics from the Norwegian Lav importers that a mate put up on one of th fb sites. A pic of a Montjuic type 500 with the title "500 Jota". That would have been the real deal.

Now we have two important questions, real Jota and real SFC? That are the secrets of the Laverdas…
Is my RGS real? It has silver rims??

The only reliable way to tell if it's a genuine Jota is to confirm that it's "Wasted Spark". ;)
Excellent, its now official
My wasted spark system confirms my bike is a Jota

or does it ………..

is it really a wasted spark system ?
we’re all Jotas fitted with a wasted spark system ?
if so was it a factory fitted option ?
if not was it only Slater who fitted them ?
if it is not a wasted spark what bike do I have ?

there‘s me thinking I cracked the wasted spark question only to find your comment has raised even more questions
going to sell my wasted spark Jota, will advertise it as unknown Italian triple, and buy a Triumph

confused of Henley
