In the USA people don't know what a Laverda is, let alone a Jota, a Jarama, a 3C, or a 3CE, fughettabouttit!
Even the enlightened cannot spot a 78 Slater Jota.

No need to feel ashamed of your countrymen, it's the same over here.
Any motorcyclist under 50 has never heard of Laverda.

I was at the hardware store, buying timber, parked in Bay 1. The bloke serving me saw the Laverda sticker on the back window. We started talking motorbikes when he got a call on the two way radio.

“Are you looking after the guy in Bay 1”

“Yep”

“Ask him if he has anymore Laverda stickers”
