LaverdaForum 2022 Calender - Preview and Ordering

It is important for us to summarise the following facts again:

The shipping costs outside the EU are indeed very high, in particular for individual calendars (it's a fee for 2kg and would also do for two calendars). But they include tracking and the content is insured.

However, we are very proud of the production costs; a calendar of this size and quality would cost three to four times as much on the open market.

So also bearing the high shipping cost in mind, the combined cost are more than worth the amount spent.

And most notably this is a project we don't earn anything from. Everything is passed on to the forum members at manufacturing plus shipping costs. In case we achieve any kind of surpluses, e.g. from cortesy of gratuities which some members kindly donated, we will forward them to the forum operator.

Cheers,
Thomas and Jo

Received my copy this morning.
Very many thanks to all those concerned, a very nice piece of work from conception to production.

Many thanks also for the little extra which I watched immediately. Nice work. If you do another one, can we have less motorcycles and more women? Greetings to the LCO. I'll have to drop by on my next ride down to Breganze on a Laverda. Maybe 2023, God willing.

Thomas will be happy to hear this!

No. Not as far as we would be concerned. Never have been a fan of scantily dressed women in combination with motorcycles or sport cars. Either the one or the other, not both mixed in a (mostly) silly way ...
:D

Cheers,
Jo

Paul, we didn't want to risk your blood pressure or anything else going up.

You should hear the DVD as loud as possible.
The eagle next to the blues guitarist is the bike from the calendar, by the way.

Thomas aus LAU
I recognised the motorcycle. Tell the guitarist that I'm coming.

PS: I don't have blood pressure and the risk isn't of other things coming up, but their coming down.

Who said scantily clad?
A nice set of leathers will do.

Checked the tracking and my calendars arrived in Vancouver yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately they may be stuck there as every road out of the Vancouver region (except to USA) is washed out by mudslides so it may be a while before it makes the next move. Usually it takes one day to travel from Vancouver to my mailbox.

Received the calendar Friday (Denmark) - thanks a lot for you efforts, Jo and Thomas.

All the hard work and hours you have put into the printing and packaging shows to be justified. The handling of parcels under way is hard on the items, and as you can see from the lower right corner my parcel got a serious hit which bended the calendar corner despite the durable packaging, but not more than I can live with it.

Received mine in the sunny UK yesterday. Suitably impressed with the epic packaging, aside from the quality of the calendar!
Top job fellas - thanks and well done (y) 🍻

I'm sorry about the damaged corner.

However, we have to choose a compromise between postage costs and the type of packaging.
If there is even more damage, we have to resort to safe packaging again with possibly higher shipping costs.

Parcels can weigh up to 31 kg. If such a part falls on a smaller package in the distribution station or in the truck, unfortunately, even the best packaging cannot prevent damage.

No worries, Thomas - I can live with it. Shit happens and we all know that parcels have a rough time in transit. I only noticed the bent corner after I threw the cardboard packaging in the bin, so I can't check it, but I'm sure your approach to packaging will result in 99% undamaged calendars.

It would be, more so, if it had the prementioned scantily clad women in it. :p
We got the very fast answer of our lawyer Jack Cheater:

"Dear Sir or Madam, We have checked your concerns whether there are any risks if you also show attractive female persons in the calendar.
After a detailed examination, we strongly advise you not to do so!
Reasons:
Feelings could be aroused, which could result in follow-up demands, e.g. for free additions of e.g. Viagra pills.
If this idea were implemented, there could still be maintenance claims for the resulting unwanted pregnancies or there could be claims for damages if the somewhat older observers suffer from heart problems due to Viagra."

Sorry guys, under this circumstances there will be no pictures of scantily clad women in the next calendar edition.

Thomas aus LAU, happily married since 43 years with the same woman.
