Just bought a 1970 GT. On the way home I lost a bolt (the adjusting screw). What does it adjust? How to adjust?

Picture of the whole bike please- the bottom one’s a friction adjuster - that threaded hole is for a screw & locknut throttle stop- stops you from stretching your cables- still available as a spare part, look up Tomaselli Daytona. You could just blank it off with a small screw .

Nice bike, interesting mod for seat. How does the Suzuki looking seat lock, if at all?

I would be a bit suspicious about the fuel filters, check the tank for rust inside. It LOOKS tidy, maybe too tidy. Hope it goes as well as it looks.

Good advice, will check it.
Will also check the cables, the bike stopped running (revs went down) when I had to stop for traffic lights. And the battery went flat overnight.

The clutch cable looks like it will eventually touch the exhaust pipe. It should run under the fuel tank. And why do people fit turn signals to old bikes that never had them?

Nice bike 👍
Concentrate on the things that make it better for riding, new battery etc. Other things can wait
That would be my approach.
If the clutch cable is routed over the tach cable it should not touch the left header.
Try routing under the tank and pull the clutch, you'll notice why someone routed the cable as per your pic!
Certain countries required turn signals, so may be an OEM fit.
A blinking light is more noticable than an arm held out to signal intent to turn.....

The fuel tank retaining rubber strap should pull the tank forwards - look for two pins under the frame tubes under the tank for the ends of the strap - else the tank may slide back off the front mounting bobbins. The two spikes that you have it around now were to locate the front of the original seat.

Ignition switch or battery isolator under the seat?? I’m intrigued by the handlebar switch next to the throttle as well- rear shocks are arse about face but doesn’t make a lot of difference. Fuel off every time as Marxy pointed out, if it floods and you hit the starter it’s not going to be pretty.
Love the colour!
