Moto GP starting this weekend

No free to air?
Tell me about this Kayo mob;
Are they the ones that bombard us with gambling ads?
Do they have ads even after you pay for their services? and
How much does it cost?

My kids set up a VPN on my lappie - connects to the telly via the HDMI output. Maybe I can find MotoGP somewhere using that?

So Ch10 bailed on televising? Too expensive?

$15 per month, no ads. What sport do you want to watch? Plenty to watch, live, replays. Motor sport channels, cars bikes etc etc.

Good race, some nice unexpected results, some to plan.
Perhaps the first time I've seen MM just simply outperformed by a teammate. LCR Hondas not as good as form suggested.
Suzis were a bit less than expected, though they were fairly slow in FP4 as well which is a good indicator. Not a bad result, but not as good as they looked in practice.
Bad race for Ducati all round, in spite of the result. The new bike has some rough edges still to knock off, though Pecco did a good job of starting the process. Miller slid backwards like a stone, obvious technical issue.
Bastiannini, Binder and Pol - excellent rides! Very emotional seeing Fausto's missus carrying on and finding success, good show.

Regardsing coverage, MotoGP.com is well worth the spend. I got a google TV thingy which plugs into a HDMI port and the app just installs on that. Super convenient. The only downside of streaming is that you can't 'chase play' like you can with Foxtel recorder box. You need to either watch live or wait till a while after each session/race for them to show up on the streaming service. With east coast AU's time slot, being able to chase play is useful if you want to start watching Euro-time Moto3 after dinner and catch up to real time by the time the big bangers are on. A problem only for the real addicts (who want to still get something done on a Sunday) I guess. :rolleyes:

I by complete accident watched the race maybe an hour later on Utube, the picture quality was pretty bad but at least I got a free look-see. Agree with all Steve's analysis, some really unexpected action, and as usual when the flag drops the Bullshit stops. It's going to be an interesting year, with nobody dominating and some fears competition.

on Crash.net story from Jack explaining his bike got "lost" on track, as in it did not know where it was so the power programming they do was all wrong
they set the bikes up so the electronics control power delivery for different parts of the track, his Duck decided to give him 100% power through the back of the track and 50% on the main straights so he pulled into the pits as he was worried about getting hit up the butt by another rider
