Moto GP starting this weekend

Well, that was a Cracker, and I use that word advisedly in homage to the late Robbie Coltrane.
Brilliant rides from all of the top half dozen, but most particularly Rins and Marquez.

At the end the first 7 bikes crossed the line in 0.884 of a second apparently, so quite a few were in there with a chance, especially once Fabio was out team orders might have been watered down.

Another 1800kms under the wheels of the Jota, just back from a character-building seven days away at Phillip Island. My first time at the GP in a long while, awesome weekend and top organisation by Richard, Jane & others to provide the facilities under which to best brave the elements and for keeping us extremely well fed and watered. The racing was fantastic, really capped off a brilliant weekend. But wow.... mud, Mud, muD and more MUD! Did I mention there was also mud?

Seven days away surrounded by motorcycles all the time and did not see a single other Laverda. The Jota didn't skip a beat and held its own among the modern stuff, even dusted a new Multistrada coming up the Clyde today. He gave me a big thumbs up once he caught me up after the mountain. Moments like that make me smile! The only major agenda item is to make a sidestand as I am tired of having to lean it against things to get on and off when carrying luggage! Oh, that, and cleaning away some MUD!

Honda CT90, if it’s too soft on the left side, you can use the right hand side stand.

I hope team Ducati got their moneys worth spending Jack the way they did. Saved Pecco's arse but did Jack no favours.

All that chicanery to get what. They waste their time with constantly manipulating moving goalposts instead of just getting on with riding the bloody bike. Here is a hint, having Jack closer to the front would be a help tomorrow.

Not to totally change the subject, but how about Marc Marquez? Is he not the Comeback Kid of the year: to be off for so long, have his career written off by so many, suffer yet another surgery and finish so well has to be some kind of miracle? To podium after all that and on a relatively uncompetitive Honda too. Talk about having balls and a fire in his belly, he be da man!!

I’m not particularly a Marquez fan but have to agree he did pull a ride out of nowhere to get on the podium. I also agree with many others the MotoGP race has to go down as one of the best of all time.
