No more PS

Does that imply you consider your time to be over?
Think positive, get a grip on yourself, your time is yet to come, get out there and stop dusting the photos on the mantlepiece.

I live in a special time zone, apparently. According to the wife, it is called borrowed time.
As in "Stop messing around in the bloody garage matey, because you are living on borrowed time". :)
Bless her, and her expansion of the spacetime continuum to include a 5th dimension.

Is that the 120 degree outfit that Graham and Elaine Rose used to ride around the world ..... ? ....... Do you now look after it .... ? ..... ( If you don`t mind me asking .... ) ...... .....

If the magazines are of no further use , then it is a good idea to free yourself from them ..... but I`m not sure about the term " dispose " , or "bin " ....... my local council collects paper waste every two weeks for re cycling , or failing that there should be a local re cycling centre ...... the best way to rid yourselves of them responsibly ........ putting twenty or thirty out each time should help , before you know it they will all be gone .....
When I say bin - we have a 240l bin just for paper... plus a bin for trash plus one for plastics plus one for biodegradeables

You'll make a friend for life with a 240l bin full of magazines! 1/4 ton? Wouldn't be surprised if you found it still full when they're through... with a "FU" note on it!

I’ve just been given a copy of the March edition of PS. It’s got an article in it entitled ‘PS Heros’ #9 Roger Slater.
Recently owners were slagging off an article by Mick Duckworth, written for another esteemed bike rag, for the errors it contained. Well the article in PS ain’t much better, although it’s not all bad but, even so, if it’s the best they can do perhaps their demise isn’t such a loss.

I thought it was a good article ........ It was basically written by Roger Slater , not PS ....... ( It is an interview with him after all ... ) ....... I found his accounts of his early years of involvement im motorcycling quite interesting .....

Caption writers ( and compiler Alan Seeley ) got it wrong on the number of Avon Production Series the Jota won though .........

( Also nice centre spread of that road registered TZ250 with it`s clothes off 🤤 ......... ) .......

Perhaps I should have said captions rather than the article per se, as you’re correct most of the words are attributed to Roger.
The con man referred to by Roger, I believe to be Richard Smallwood, appears in one of the photos. He moved on to Calere Laverda, where he repeated his nefarious activities.

That`s interesting ...... I was wondering who that might have been ......... I`m guessing page 20 rather than page 23 ... ? ......

( Slightly surprised SW wasn`t already aware ..... ) .... and I see what you mean about captions .....Monty actually a Formula ; the RGS Jota etc .........

There`s an even bigger cockup where a readers CBR600 writeup becomes that of a 1100 Kat ......... they mention in the final issue that they were informed of the ending of the mag whilst putting together this penultimate issue , and rather took their eyes off the ball ......

They went to town on the final issue though ....... lots of pages , and printed on much higher quality paper than the usual cost saving , cheap , flimsy stuff .......

Yes, in the photo of the aforementioned RGS ‘Jota’.
My SFC1000 was at Calere to have an engine rebuild following its major blow-up in practice at the TT in 1989. The story I was given was it was sold following the rebuild, when Steve was away, and Smallwood pocketed the cash and disappeared.

Sorry Paul , just laziness on my behalf ........ ( although it has been mentioned here before ref the abandoned in a garden for 30 years 1200 Mirage rescue and rebuild ) ........ now we will never see the conclusion of that story .... pity .......

Tony ........ ( just on my way out for cheeseburger / chips , and a large bottle of original taste Pepsi ..... ) ........
it will hopefully appear in classic bike mag in next few months once we have finished it off .(I'm Chris's dad )
