, and i like ya anti-friction additive idea in the fork oil.

Mark

Hi Mark, remember that grey 'sludge' we poured out of my forks? That was the anti friction additive (MoS2)...

The BMW K forks generally all have a leading axle set up, not entirely sure what this would do to the handling but I'm sure it will do something.

Got these in my track triple.  With hindsight, I should have lengthened the headstock, while I was at it.  Fitted with the stock Beemer yokes, handling is at least on par with the OE set up.  The trailing axle is quite a bit thicker than the Laverda, 25mm iIrc.  Bearings with 25mm ID are only 9mm width, but seem to stand up OK, up till now...  The sliders have lugs for a brace, the whole assembly is far more rigid than the weedy 38mm Marzocchis.

I would have bought them myself if I knew you were going to stuff around
no matter, more will come up

I know they fit as A***** the Swift is running them on his new track bike already

Red, I have a feeling that your financial resources are a lot healthier than mine  :(

The $240 freight cost put me out of the race. I'm not in any hurry so will keep an eye out for something else, hopefully in Australia.

The forks and triple clamp were a bit beat up anyway.

PS: Who is A***** the Swift?

Hey Red, if you're not in a rush I can pick it up for you, It's at the BMshop by the looks of it. I have to go there to get a new indicator lense.

No rush, anytime before November will be fine.
Max will arrange payment later today, will tell her to tell Chris you will pick it up.
Take it you know this guy pretty well. ?
