Forgotten Weapons French 75 GIN Cocktail:
My Irish Grandfather on my Fathers side liked Gin and Bass Ale. Yuk! But this Gin drink does it:
I use this recipe occasionally over 2 shaken frozen glasses with lots of ice.
1/3 oz lemon juice laced with lots of sugar to make a syrup / Plastic lemons work, Granulated sugar works but you should mortar it.
2oz of Sapphire Bombay Gin.
Topped of with Botticelli bubbly white wine.
Tastes somewhat like a Fresco Pop or a fizzy Pepto-Bismol Tablet in a glass of water. Would not be surprised if you dropped a Pepto-Bismol Tablet in a Gin and Tonic if you didn't get the same results - ROFL !
Results: Hard hitting and beware of the Hangover.
I do like Forgotten Weapons and Ian McCollum.
Casablanca - Probably the best Cock-tale Flic of all time - A bar scene: "Give her a French 75" ;o)
Been fancy for the 007 Dry Martini and Margarita's on occasions as well - I like Mexican Mescal - There's something about that Yaki Peyote that is unique - With or without the worm ;o)
