Looks like my next dog will be a retired greyhound. Contrary to popular belief, they're gentle natured dogs that don't need a lot of exercise and are generally nice pets. Gotta watch them on the beach though. They're fast enough to catch seagulls.

I recall one night at my girls friend's house. Her blond goof brother was staying there and  he      had a Wolf Hound. Being respective, I slept on the couch, only to awake the next morning with every part of my body numb and asleep - That dumb ass dog had crawled upon me during the night and slept on top of me - Took me about a 1/2 hour to get moving.

NO jokes concerning what that Dumb Wolf Hound may have done during the night - LOL

Give me a Canadian Lab or a Black British Retriever (American show Lab - Same thing) any day.

Some dogs are smart, no matter the breed, but most dogs are just as dumb as their Master.

We have 2 rescue greyhounds. Brilliant dogs, great with the kids, and they love cats (to death) which is OK with me. Never had so much native birdlife on the block as we have had since the greys arrived.

I had a wired hair Bouvier des Flandres (Something like a Giant Schnauzer) for a while as a pup - 150 lb at 6 mths - Bigger then a Wolf Hound, built like a horse, gentle, loved children and a JOKER, but scary for my neighbours and ate me outta house and home so I sold him at 1 1/2 years for a fair price. He had clipped ears and tail from birth.

My best friend found him and we took turns raising that pup. Not to our mothers fancy. I was still a live at home teenager with some clought :o

His name was Luge.

He loved to knock you down in a night walk flying from 12 O-Clock Hi - Sounding like a horse were you can't see him and grabbing your waist between his 12" jaws, squeezing your waist until you subsided - What a work out with a pup.

I could ski behind him wearing Nikki's a with a leash across a football field.

The  best thing about Luge, you never had to chain him as he never left my property boundary when loose.

I lived in the country but with Luge, neighbours thought I was raising a bear.

One thing Luge did was sleep in the yard and if somebody walked by would stand up a go WOOF! Of course they froze until I explained them he was a puppy and they loved him; exclaiming, they never saw a dog that big.

Neither have I to this date.

Hey I gotta story about 2 Cats: An albino green eyed wild simonize Feline and a big black farm Tom  - Wanna hear it - LOL

Glad you said no. It's the story of my life and would take more than a page or two to tell it.

I'm not fussy about Cats and a verily breathing survivor ;o)

FFS Chris, don't take three Panadol. It's easy to OD on Panadol (acetaminophen). It'll fuck your liver. And you're more vulnerable if your liver is already stressed from alcohol consumption.

According to the interweb "Paracetamol is the single most commonly taken drug in overdoses that lead to hospital presentation and admission."

Davo is better qualified to give advice than I am, but I believe anything more than 1000mg (two tablets) is considered an overdose. A dose sufficient for liver failure is probably a lot higher than that, but you don't want to find out from personal experience.
