V6 model kit

Spoke with a friend of mine who does assemble these models. He knows the manufacturer and confirmed that these models are build to the highest standards. Sent him the link where to pre-order them and I think he did right away... ;-)

Not good that it takes that long, but I think it is really a massive job to create everything in such details. Results for sure will be absolutely stunning!

Thanks again, Paul, for organizing. Cross my fingers everything runs well and we'll see the final product before July (and if July, hopefully it's 2024... ;) )

From Luciano today:

" Dear Philip,
The Laverda is progressing and I believe it will be ready within a couple of months.
As soon as I have some images I will post them.
Regards
Luciano Brach
"

I wrote to Luciano who sent me the following pics yesterday. He still has a fair bit of work, the front end and instruments notably before making the moulds.
He hopes to present the kit in May, we'll have it a bit before.

The shot holding the wheel is the best because it gives you something to refer to size-wise. for something that small the detail is incredible. What a masterpiece!

Looks extremely accurate
Especially as rumor has it that the real thing was held together with tie wraps

It does look fantastic though!!!

I got a mail from Luciano Brach yesterday.
He assures me that the kits will finally be ready in September.
As soon as the kits are ready, Luciano will be shipping them out to me and I'll ship them to you. Total cost will be calculated at that time.
Price agreed at the time was €250 to which you'll have to add shipping.
All but one of you have paid €125, one has paid the €250.
No use bombarding me with messages about when and how much, I know no more.
I'll inform you as soon as I do, that is to say when Luciano tells me all the kits are complete.

we maybe should start asking which year when he names a month... just saying... ;)

On a more serious note: The pics of the parts that are done already look absolutely stunning. Not sure I will glue the parts together as I don't have the skills to do it, but the work that goes into the very details is just increadable to see.

So - thanks for the regular updates. We know it's not your fault, Paul, great things just take time.

You can’t not use glue…. It’ll just fall into hundreds of bits at the first crash into a hay bale at the IOM!

what like |Piero did a few years ago in Ramsey?
CLEM
weird thing is that there are a few who claim to have a piece of fairing from that crash, but the original was repaired and re-used, so how many claim a share of the fibre glass, and which bits did Piero have to fill in, or did they just scoop up a film canister of orange dust.
