So at Pino’s I had a patata pizza and there was some mixed reactions over this.
Some even went as far as saying it was just wrong
A Victorian member who may be of an Italian background even called it peasant food but he would as he’s from the nth
So in the UK they have chip butties and here in Aus we have chip swandwiches
Anyway it wasn’t as good as the ex mother in laws or but was ok

Peasants in Italy have good food.
You can find pizzas with potatoes in Italy in places with a lot of tourists, therefore best avoided.
Tourists like to explore the world but it mustn't be too different from home.

Put on a pizza what you will, someone will always dislike it, much like bolt counters I expect. I’m partial to caramelised onions and tandoori chicken on my wood fired pizzas then finished chopped cilantro and roasted lemon. . Nothing Italian about that. Potato pizza could be quite good if it’s thin sliced rpotato that has been roasted with plenty of garlic and rosemary , perhaps a smattering of tapenade over the top of the potato’s ….. sounds pretty good to me.

Haha that sounds pretty flashy! Bloody goormay 😉 Hand-make the dough too do you? (It’s the only way)

Loving the roasted lemons by the way, use them a lot 👍

Good man. Kiwis are always quick on the uptake on roasted/ bbq lemons. Insanely good on big bbq snapper too.
Who doesn’t make their own pizza dough…,

Obviously the pharmaceutical industry has been at work.

a favourite is meat an potato pie, (oh all right then potato with a bit of meat) best served in the Miners arms, Laxey, IOM. Theres is just the best ever, but the mushrooms in cream and garlic sauce (a starter) and slow cooked lamb shank at Baskers does take some beating.
