Maybe this time next year, motor is underway, rest of the bike moving along at my usual snails pace. My cousin Ross is building a Honda 650 dominator which has already done a lap, big bore conversion just completed. He is very keen to come along as well.
Marty, I will try and find the Woodys Wheel Works article about his method of sealing spokes. He does a lot of tough wheel conversions for Round the World Types and Rally Racers.
What on his Triumph, didnt realise he had a spoked wheel bike in the stable. You are talking about running a spoked wheel tubeless so you can plug punctures .
Filled the Yellow Peril with 95 at the local servo instead of going to the bigger place down the main road (supporting your local business), bike ran like crap afterwards. Consensus is that small servos that have a 95 or 98 pump don't have a sufficient turnover to prevent the fuel becoming stale or contaminated.
In really remote areas they only have Opal, that's a petrol that is designed to stop the effects of Vaping. There is a horrible problem of the local indigenous kids sniffing petrol.
