Wolfgangs location

Well I really must have Alzheimer's disease as Wolfgang is apparently much younger then I recall back some 50 years ago.

However; please explain why his online store at Angelfire.com "Columbia Car & Cycle" is located in Nakusp West Kootenays B.C. - Can not say I've been to that location. - Perhaps I met some of his relatives there instead.


Wolfgang Hearter's shop is is just up that street to Shakespeare and turn right - Follow that Motorcycle ;o)

I first spoke with Wolfgang soon after he moved to Nakusp, but damn if I remember what year that was. Mid 1990s I would guess, I'll check to see if I have some old invoices. I guess we should all be thankful he is so frugal (love the explanation why) and managed to keep in business and providing parts for our rare old bikes, at reasonable costs.

Ok - almost Swabian. The border with Swabia is 82 km away. The thrift of the Swabians was not meant negatively.

Wine-drinking people are always nice. Look at the French, Spanish and Italians.

While waiting on the remapping of the ECU from VCycleNut in Florida https://www.vcyclenut.com/kawasaki-h2-sx.html I have added a pair of Clearwater Darla lights to the front fender https://www.clearwaterlights.com/ an Admore light bar to the rear https://admorelighting.com/ specialty engineered bar risers from Murph's Engineering, a high quality National Cycle touring windscreen in polycarbonate, a new pair of Michelin Road 5's, new EBC HH brake pads all around, Manic Salamander heavy solid stainless steel bar ends, Grip Puppy Comfort Grips https://grip-puppy.com/ more charging points, a GIVI tank bag and tail bag, Kawasaki saddle bag liners for the hard saddlebags, stock factory replacements for the damaged body panels and brackets, T-Rex front fork sliders, frame sliders, and rear axle slider, some "go fast" goodies, a pair of side faring winglets from Puig in Europe emulating the wings on the H2R and that supposedly provide some downforce, and I just reset all the adjustable front and rear suspension settings back to factory stock from the manual to have a decent baseline to start with. Also new spark plugs, fresh brake and clutch fluids, oil change and filter to Amsoil, drained and flushed the cooling system and refilled with Engine Ice (Propylene Glycol) https://fortnine.ca/en/engine-ice-hi-performance-coolant The delivery people are humming around my place like bees.......

Have seen to many falling asleep with the wrong amount of wine... on liqueur though, they can stay up all night... might be the sugar, I don't know... We have a regular party always at the end of the holiday season with our neighbors and I remember well that when the liqueur was put on the table, the ladies were the last to go to bed, partly after 3 or 4 in the morning. all men went at least 1-2 hours before...

on wine, mine would have fallen asleep before 10.00 pm...

I bought some engine parts from him as well in 1995, that's when the bad centre bearing on my 1200 let go and did lots of damage. He had no website in those days, most business's didn't, everything was done over the phone. As I recall he was just setting up business then and only had part of his inventory, as the remainder was still in transit from Germany. Henry, your around Winnipeg, right? I had the new bearings for my crank (C3 clearance, sourced from Slaters) fitted by Associated Crankshaft in Winnipeg who were known for their work on racing snowmobiles, crank came back perfectly indexed and looking like new., they still around?
