We had precast concrete parapets delivered Highways England came to inspect them before installation and noticed rust spots. a trial hole was drilled and found black tying wire instead of stainless. £150 grand of scrap and a 12 week delay getting them re-castI bow to your point Cosi. Seen so much concrete cancer over the years from lack of cover.

Top boxes are very convenient Batto, but boy do they fuck with the way the bike handlesRan out of argon, so can't finish the welding but everything's tacked up and I'm reasonably happy. When doing something like this you mainly work out how you want to do the next one better. I can still remove seat and sidecovers with it in place.

Topboxes are a bit of a turd, but I've been wanting to try one out for the convenience factor and I had the givi plate and topbox sitting around that Dad had handed down to me. Givi have a smallish box that maybe doesn't look totally terrible, in silver or black, which I might look at getting later. But for this trip I'll be rocking the huge plastic blobby one... will be hard to miss!

Interesting, can you tell us about the carbies and airbox? Clearly not standard, I am guessing CVs and a carbon fibre box...Couple of upgrades for bello, has taken 3 attempts to wash it. Flat strap stainless steel rack holding up well. New fuel taps from Shaun, thanks mate.
Might actually be able to make it to the meeting. Significant other is going to a show at the Opera House that night.Yep, airbox is fibreglass, good improvement in idle, mid range torque, fuel economy. When are we going to meet you bazzee? Club meeting this wednesday night.7.30 at bath arms hotel burwood.
