BEARS Australia 2023

Race 4 was a bloody cracker Mattie botched the start so had to carve his way through the field. One for the ages that race you had to be there to witness it Matt had Veloce sideways out of turn two on the gas he was flying ended up taking the class win and a third overall.
Oh and after we packed up dropped up the hill to say a good aye to Hooksie he certainly knows how to put on a spread.
Man how lucky are we to be able to see Laverda’s on the racetrack and ti be catered for by Dave here at the Broadford round.

That would have been fun Andy! On the ride up and back I actually tried out the bottom half of my new secondhand Dainese two-piece leathers and new secondhand Alpinestars boots. Had hell trouble with the right foot trying to get under the gear lever, so that needs to be sorted before I go anywhere near a track - which is on 4th December at Phillip Island. Feels like the sole is too fat and won't easily fit under the std Jota lever (with an RGS toe piece on it). Ended up giving me cramps in the hip joint.
 
Matty was certainly in good form - for someone with quite a bit of residual pain from his injuries - first time back on the track. That come from behind was a pearler!
 
Seems like a bloody good weekend, 3 wins and 1 very close second, and what looks like great weather to boot. Hopefully, with a fully healed Matt at the next round, Fitz won’t see which way he went. keep up the good work lads.

Many thanks to Red n Max for stumping up and bringing the Bikes to Broadee. Your Passion and skill for developing these Redax Racers is amazing! Hats off to you mate, they sure do give us a shot in the arm when we are hangin off the fence whatching.
To all those that stood in our humble squalor and shared a story old n new…..I salute you!
We watched the gun pilot carve his way through pack on more than one occasion, a smooth operator is Matt, was a pleasure to watch Mate, Bravo 🙌

So turn 1 is off the start finish straight and turn 2 is like a second half of a double apex after it - onto the main straight? haven't ridden there or seen the corner from up the hill.
 
When you have the torque I suspect that has - and no sophisticated electronics - they all are

Just depends how long you need the tyre to last.
