Marty, don't mean to throw a curve in your schedule but on Day 22, there is a really famous nude beach in Broome and August is the perfect time to visit the area. Day 33 a day of rest in Walpole, you might need a few days to recover if you run into Motodd Rob in the tingle forest.

Did an oil change at Yalata in 98, wheeled the Yammie Serow 225 in to the mulga, dug a hole and dumped one litre (it was mineral oil). Topped up and away I went.

Be careful in the Horrock's Pass between Port Augusta and Peterborough, after crossing the Nullarbour you and your bike will have forgotten what a 25 kmh corner looks like.

Yeah Horrock"s Pass was the best bit about trips across the Nullabore. After 2000 kays of straight road you had to be carefull of those bends as well as the flat spot on the tyres. Always enjoyed the ride down through the Adelaide Hills
