Espresso machines

My Atomic is from an Australian supplier, but the label says "Made in Italy" so I guess they all come out of the same factory.

My mum bought it about 40 years ago. I presume she bought it somewhere in Hobart, but it came from Bon Trading Company in Sydney (which still exists and is still selling these things) https://www.atomiccoffeemachines.com.au/

Mine seems to be a bit unusual because the 'n' in 'Bon' is printed upside down, so it actually says 'Bou Trading Company'. I wonder how many of those labels got through quality control before they spotted the error.  :D

I am about to wank on, post lyrically. I have no idea what good design is but that Atomic gadget is pure sex appeal. It would look amazing shined up. Those curves are THE BOMB ATOMIC

If you like them that much Vince, head into Bon Trading Company (12 Oxford St, Woolahra) with $495 in your hand and you'll have a brand new one of your very own. You'll be able to admire and caress its sensual curves. When you're done with the sexual pleasure, they make a decent cup of coffee too.  :D

I haven't used mine for years because I have a ceramic cook top and aluminium isn't recommended for those things. One of these days I'll machine up a bit of stainless plate to go under it so I can stick it on the stove top. I reckon I'd need to go through it and fit a new set of seals before recommissioning it. The rubber seal on the filler knob is as hard as the bloody aluminium.

Nice work, let me know what you think. When they first started roasting, they sent me all their test roasts for blends they were going to do, so I could give them tasting notes, it was great fun, but Im to much of a spade is a spade to get into porn descriptions like they do wine and food these days .  I do hope you enjoy it

I'm looking forward to my delivery, maybe it will arrive next week. I certainly won't be describing the coffee in the way some people describe fine wine, rest assured.

America seems to have discovered and decided that contact tracing is a good idea in the fight against COVID. E un miracolo.

I?m glad that you won?t be poetic and flowery about the coffee.  In tasting coffee as in fine wine or in fact any wine , it should be about honesty and what you taste and most importantly if you like it. I have a good pallet, and can pick out most things , but I can?t remember any time  I put in tasting notes for a Chardonnay ( yes Paul , I know that?s a grape type :D) that on the front of my pallet I had just tasted the earthiness of a sun kissed oak barrel with slightly green water mixed with fresh clipped grass.  I do remember being poetic and a little over zealous with the description of how thought of my first wife ,we are now divorced,  which I guess goes to show why I now I call a spade a spade, so much don?t get confused about what is really in front of me !

I'll vote for the AEROPRESS! (so easy to make and clean-up) (well done Canada).

The only thing better is the italian expresso boilers (killer coffee) but most are made of aluminium ... so not sure about dementia etc.

Bananas.
There's always bananas in wine aroma.
And in a lot of ex wives as well.
