Laverda ?

SAHB is a fav here, though Scott Walker also and he has this english version at a level few could best, j

AS music does, leads us astray, also onto the path of enlightenment, including the off topic sign post by the pathway side... witty and adroit all the same. Be one divergent get-to-gether, participants and Laverda folk here, music ( caned and live ) would be sorted to the nth degree... yah and tah in vernacular. j

That is exactly my point.
The anglo-saxon world, thanks to the Royal Navy in the past and the US dollar more recently is totally egocentric and the above examples shows that foreign songs mainly exist only if they're culturally colonised.
As for French musicians, singers and bands, the list would be too long.

Ever heard of Django Reinhardt?

Paul
Dingo Rinehard, that is a short list, I saw him in concert, and I did see an old dude playing his fiddle same gig, think his name was Stephan Gallipoli. "I got culture I do Guvna"! Nana Misscurry was in the same hall, no wait a minute I bought my mum tickets for that one and a bottle of ouzo. All in fun Paul.
