Hi Tom, I think you should learn Italian and move to Breganze forever!Well it appears as though I’m a lucky guy. Went to the museum this morning as I had heard there was a ru n to Bassano to visit a car museum. Met Georgio at the gate and then Werner turns up and asks if I want to ride one of his bikes rather than take the car. So having said yes I’m given a helmet and a lovely SF2 and away we go. Gee it’s like a GP the way these guys ride. Visited the museum , not bad as there were some interesting cars and a few nice bikes as well
Then away we go up into the hills above Bassano, switchback after switchback chasing all the other bikes that we picked up at the museum. Up and over the top of the range and more switchbacks till eventually we ended up at a special restaurant where we had a great meal and a couple of small beers the back chasing Werner and the crew down to Bassano where they lot me so I just bumbled along back to Breganze and the museum.
Absolutely top day and I cat thank Werner and his lovely wife Irina enough for the gracious hospitality that that they e shown this old bum from down under. I can only say that if your in this neck of the wood then visit the museum as they deserve all the support we can give them

Topeak offers a similar system, intended to be used on a bicycle but can be used on motorbikes for sure, too. comes with a bolt-through system that allows similar installation as the solution from Marnix. Cover is very robust, dropped my phone several times without any damage. Currently no water proof offering though, but most of the modern cell phones are water proof anyway, so...... Seems to be called quadlock in the UK. Very very similar website.
That’s the Dutch bunch posing with their bikes. Not my video, I found it on Utube. Some great bikes there.
What never fails to amaze me: you rarely find 2 Laverdas that look exactly the same... There is always something that is different, be it just the blinkers and mirrors, the color of the painted parts or many other differences. Not my video, I found it on Utube. Some great bikes there.
That, for the moment is my plan as well.2023.Every time I've been from UK to Breganze, I roll into town with an aching arse, head, arms, hands, bollocks and oncoming heat stroke, generally feeling a bit sorry for myself. Then, I park up in the square and see someone with 20 years on me - it takes the edge off my self pityI hope I can keep going as long as the super-men. This thread has really whetted my appetite for a 2023 visit

Don't I know it Tom. I no longer express a wish for the future without it being followed by "inch Allah".Don’t be so hasty Paul. A whisper around the camp is that the bikes will be the centre of attention in the square. For those that live in Europe or the UK you should’ve made the effort to get to the opening as it was a great event put together by a dedicated team who worked tirelessly for week to het it happening. Yes I know that you all have various reasons for not turning up but just remember we are all getting older and the number of these events that you’ll be able to attend is getting smaller. If you look over your shoulder you’ll see tha a lot of your life is behind you and there’s not as much ahead so grab the opportunity to attend these meetings while your still able to
Just my thoughts and not bagging anymore out
Tom
