the ugliest bike

All very subjective; agree that modern styling is 'insectoid', don't really want to ride something that looks it's just crawled out ok a War of the Words movie.
For me the ugliest bikes on the road are Harley 'Baggers', how anybody could ride one and call themselves a motorcyclist is beyond me.

Saturday, I saw a Harley rider in shorts and singlet, riding faster than my 110kph, ape-hangers, single bicycle type sprung saddle and no rear mudguard.
The tyre was almost up his arse-crack. One foul move and :o

That BMW cruiser thing is certainly in the hunt for the top honors, but I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the Morbidelli V8 in all these pages.  Such an impressively engineering exercise clothed in ... words fail me. :-[

I like bikes that have some light and shade about them - like to be able to see the top of the engine from side-on, and so on.  That?s why agree about the ugly fairing and side panels on the Laverda earlier on.
The ugliest bike of recent years has to be the Ducati Diavel - looks like a bloody great lump bolted between two wheels.  Jeez, even the ugliest Harley is better than that thing.

This MV 600 four is certainly ugly, but in a handsome sort of way.
Hard to believe that this bike came from the same design stable as the magnificent looking 750S.

Let me summarize some previous posts and add pictures of motorcycles were appointed.
Herewith enclosed you can appreciate:

- HD PanAmerica
- Morbidelli V8

then, I'm going to add the ViperBossHoss and a sample of bagger.
Regarding baggers, I don't know if could be evaluated as motorcycles at all... sorry, just kidding, I love'em in the deep of my heart, but they are custom bikes just built on commission, not massive production.

Brace yourself, enjoy and Love...

I was leant the first CBR1000 in the country, pre launch from the Honda rep. It was incredible looking and people were blown away by it- eventuallly got the Nick name ? jelly mould?. I can vividly remember uncrating  the first ZX10 and we had to keep it under wraps until the official launch- it looked like something from outer space back then but now is probably the single cheapest superbike on eBay.
We also had two new Les Harris Bonnevilles, which I talked my boss into having in stock. There was literally no interest in them at all and they sat in the shop gathering dust, and I took a lot of stick for it.
Like fashion- goes full circle.

They call themselves ?bikers? more interested in the culture
While a ?motorcyclist? is well more interested in the motorcycle - simple really 👍

Loving this post. Man, there are some fug-ugly motherfuggers of motos out there!! Things like that MV - you can't even envisage finding a way to modify it to make it look good ... it's sort of stuck with what it is and the plastic surgeon can offer no help!

I hated the Katana when it first appeared - I called them Darth Vader or the Stanley Knife (but I think there was a 250/400 Suzuki or Yamaha something that had more of the Stanley Knife look). They don't bother me at all these days when I see one.

Anything that resembles these two heaps of shit!

Oh!! shit, we forgot the seat,  never mind, let's just use a sawn off plank of wood!!
No imagination copycat shit.

Sorry,  rant over

Im with you on the Katana... never understood them, people still have a hard on for them........

is every body forgetting the Laverda framed, wheels suspension etc that had a Fiat 127 engine and was called the SHIFTY
ugly thing that I once detested, now I would like to own one, and (oh yes) an Amazona as well, but not the panelled out thing pictured here they did a naked one which had far more interest,
you just would not want to be getting either of those dirty because ......... the CLEANING!!!

a very capable bike, Dave Minton owned one and was hugely complementary about it, sadly he would not be able to comment on that currently, you will be posting a picture of a pan European soon, make sure its an ST1100M without ABS!, so just get on with it.

A lovely thing the Honda Pacific coast. Way ahead of it's time, very much like the beautiful Majestic at the end of the 20s or the Neracar.

It would seem that one of the criteria for ugliness of the motorcycle consumer is that it doesn't resemble what one can see on every street corner.

Clem,

Shifty Bitsa sidecar rig for sale in Germany. Perhaps an option before the UK drops off the tax free Eurozone.
