the ugliest bike

I never appreciated this ...

About 775 B?hmerlands where manufactured from 1925 until 1939.
Designed by Albin Liebisch, the B?hmerland was powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine of 80x120mm bore/stroke for a capacity of 603cc. But whereas its overhead-valve motor was entirely conventional, the B?hmerland?s advanced cycle parts were anything but, consisting of a lengthy, duplex-loop, tubular frame; coil-sprung, leading-link front fork; and - for the first time on a motorcycle - cast-alloy wheels. Models of varying wheelbase lengths were built, the most celebrated of which is the three-seater ?Langtouren? (long touring), some where 4-seat (!) ?Langtouren?. All B?hmerlands were powered by Liebisch?s 603cc four-stroke single which even went additionally with Gasoil (when warm).
By the way - the race version made 160 km/h.
The normal version was 3.170 mm long.

I am here Andy, and that picture (IAG) is not a true series 11 1200TS, it is a series 11 engine alright but the fairing and indicators are from a series 1, the series 11 had indicators on stalks under the cut away fairing.
and anyway I am with PLC here, I like it and ride it, I never intended to buy the most beautiful bike, I bought one that works for me, (but I didn't know that at the time of purchase) much like my Pan European,
But listen folks I do like the MZ a lot and would like to own one, and also the Bohmerland, so maybe my vision is distorted.
later Nessies are ugly as they get, and I would like one of them as well.

ciao Gert,
unfortunately customization is not allowed... (but if so you would be the winner for sure).

Up to now it seems Ducati and BWM are competing for the prize (at least as brands more mentioned).
Aprilia, even if hadn't big sales at time, is taking a revenge (however I'm not agree!  :D), and Clem is running for being the collector of motorcycles most debate ever!

Now a new entry:

Gilera Cx is lovely both from a design and conception point of view.
Ducati Multistrada is lovely as well.

Those marketing people sure know how to give the public what it wants. The nice stuff doesn't sell.

Honda CX 500c comes to mind, already pretty hideous in regular trim.

If the MZ isn't ugly enough for this crowd then perhaps an Amazonas will get your attention.

My, you're good at this, Jim!  :D

At least the Norton could be transformed into something that wasn't as attractive as a slapped arse, but the Amazonas is way beyond any possibility of redemption.

I can't wait to get the Orange Marx Special restoration finished!

As the bastard child of a Philippe Stark/Uglystrada/Gilera CX cross, it will surely be a work of stunning contemporary beauty ...
