V6 model kit

what like |Piero did a few years ago in Ramsey?
CLEM
weird thing is that there are a few who claim to have a piece of fairing from that crash, but the original was repaired and re-used, so how many claim a share of the fibre glass, and which bits did Piero have to fill in, or did they just scoop up a film canister of orange dust.
CLEM
Bits of the fairing screen, Clem 😉

I've contacted the model maker, Luciano Brach. The kit is being produced. Luciano needs to build one so as to write the instructions for the kit. The box also has to be produced. This will take at least a month.
I have 21 orders for the kit, including myself. Everyone has made a down payment of € 125 per kit, the pre production sale price being €250. For some reason, Peder Heise sent me €250 already for one kit, and Niels Koldby € 150.
As from now, you can send me by Paypal the sum to complete the €250 except the people from the Laverda Club de France, LCF, who'll I'll deal with separately.
Paypal address is pouma54@orange.fr
If really Paypal is a BIG problem for you, send me a pm on this forum and I'll forward you my private bank details but I'd rather avoid that.

Be aware of the following. Luciano Brach will be sending me all the kits and I'll send them out to you, when the time comes. I would have preferred Luciano to post the kits, but he refuses. That implied that when the time comes for me to post the kits to you, there will be the costs of posting to me from Italy to share between us and the cost of posting to you. That will come in due time, hopefully not too far away. Let's get the money out to Luciano first and then we'll sort out the individual costs.

Joined is the list of down payments received, I hope that I've forgotten nobody, and the photos received from Luciano today.

I hope that I've been clear in my explications.

Paul

Hi Paul,
Finally sorted PayPall. Send you a payment.
Hello Otto,
I thought that I'd been clear, back in August 2022, that the project was to help finance Luciano for the kit and in return, people who had put money in initially would get the kit cheaper than market price. The people who did so are on the list I published yesterday. 21 kits at €250. Luciano has confirmed that he received 21 x €125 from me. I also have a list, not published, of people who said they were interested but never made a down payment to get the project off the ground. You are on that second list.
I'll be sending you your €250 back because you're two years too late.
The kit will be commercially available at about the same time we'll be receiving them for around €270 I believe. I seem to remember a shop in Holland announcing the kit a while back already.
Paul

Great, thanks to all.
Everybody on this forum, including myself, apart from Tom Coventry has completed payment for his order.
Watch this space.
I expect that in the two years since this project was initiated, you've learnt to be patient.

I deliberately left you out Clem because you've invited me for tea Sunday next..
You are the only Brit Clem to have bought one. A couple said "yes please" but I never saw the money. I had put a message on the ILOC forum.

Everybody on this forum has paid the agreed cost of the kit. Thanks for being quick, it makes things easier for me.

As soon as all of the 21 people having ordered kits have paid and as soon as the kits are ready in Italy, I'll pay for postage from Italy to my place in France of all the 21 kits, one of them for myself. As I explained, Luciano refuses to post the kits individually.
From then, once I've collected your addresses, I'll let you know total postage costs to you. Shipping will of course be tracked so my responsibility will end at the post office door.
Those of you outside the EU will likely have to pay customs duties though sometimes our administrations are busy with other things.

I'll let you know as things progress. I don't expect any news until November.

Paul

Time flies.
I received a mail from Luciano yesterday. He's assembling the first kit so as to write the instructions. He expects every thing to be ready by the end of the month.
He sent me some photos of an assembled and painted engine which he asked me not to publish. I can ensure you that the photos are impressive.

I've received all the 21 payments so as soon as I've got the green light from Luciano, I'll have the kits sent to my place.
Father Christmas may be in orange this year.

Paul
