V6 model kit

And now imagine, the engine of this model V6 would run...

Did he forget to paint the right valve-cover?:LOL: Seems even pro's make mistakes... (pretty sure the last time I saw the V6, it had both covers black... but maybe one was replaced meanwhile due to one of the drops of the bike?!? That would then really be love for detail... ).

EDIT: just checked: the bike at the museum has the both covers black...:

I have one question, will the modell bike be assambled or will it be a kit, which should be assamled by the buyer?
Now, when I have seen the fotos I would also be interested to buy one.

Hello Lothar,

The version of the kit is in conformity with the V6 which turned Bol d'Or 1978, cylinder head right raw and not painted in black, the 2 air intakes on the front of the fairing and this version of the exhausts. However, there are a few errors in the stickers.

There will always be nitpickers.

I'm astonished at the level of authenticity we might achieve if we take the time to build the kit carefully and am very grateful to Paul and Luciano for putting together the opportunity to have a kit of parts with the promise of such a fabulous model.
I'm truly looking forward to receiving my kit and to be able to spent the time when it presents itself to try to make mine look as good as Luciano's build.

We hear that if you didn't join the original group of investors in the project then these kits will be available to the public from Luciano Brach's company.

That is an interesting one, thanks for highlighting!! Never saw these pics before, thanks! So - correct detail on the valve cover if it shall be a copy of the Bol D'dor status of the bike. Shame the stickers then don't match. Nevertheless, a true piece of art and assembled to very, very high standards! Will leave mine in the box as I don't have the skills to build it to the necessary level. That way, it at least doesn't just collect dust that you can hardly get rid of... Will hang it to the wall in something like this:

Along with the 750 SFC model I bought at the Laverda Museum NL on the closing day...

In the world of assembling these models, it is all about details, believe it or not. I just found it funny as I thought he forgot to paint it. that he did not by intention just shows how detail-driven he is (and his clients...). Nothing wrong with that from my perspective ;)

Years ago I bought this SFC 750 modell kit which I wanted to assemble when I am retired. Now I am since two years and the SFC is still in the box. When I will have assembled it and I will be happy with the result, maybe I would be prepared to order the V6 modell.
So far I think I will not have the ability to assemble the V6 with a good result. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Spoke to my buddy the other day. He is assembling models since roughly 45 years if not for longer. He actually builds "scenes", like a workshop with the partly assembled bike, some parts on the work bench - just like it would look like if you work on a bike in a work shop. He also did some nice "accident scenes" like a droped bike in a corner with an ambulance around etc., something like that:

He does it mostly with workshops, sales shops or similar but has done also some nice scenes with race-tracks if I remember right. He had a friend that worked at a dental laboratory and who made the Ducati engines (as a copy from the plastic ones) in gold and dental metal. Looked superb!

I think for a result as close to the above as possible, you definitely need an airbrush system and good experience with it, the right colors, an absolut dedication to detail and clean working etc. It should maybe not be your first, maybe not even your second model you build, as this one is quite complex... To avoid the glue is visible at any part is an art in itself...

I received the parcel from Luciano Brach this morning.
Two of the 21 kits will stay at home, mine and Clems since Clem will be dropping in some time in the future.
The others will be posted in due course.
For that, would each one of you who pre-ordered, paid and made this possible two years ago send me by PM his full name, postal address, telephone number and mail address. Without all those details, international shipment isn't possible.
Please don't be in a rush, each kit will need individual packing and addressing, customs declaration where applicable, and going to the post office.
I will contact you when your parcel is posted detailing postage costs, from Italy to my place and from here to your place.
On top of that, we set off on Saturday to a motorcycle camping weekend in the deepest Somme. 3°C and damp. I set off with a sore throat and came back with the Flu! So, I'm a bit under the weather.

Lastly, we subsidised Luciano with our orders and he offered us a good price on the kits in return.
All others can order their kits at full price directly: https://www.brachmodel.it/
