Had to ride to work this morning, car is in for a service. Bloody hell, the newest growth industry is sticking up speed restriction signs and witch's hats!
At the bottom of the south-eastern freeway, where the 'Welcome to Adelaide ' sign is, they should add 'expect delays'.
That's it, whinge of the day out of the way.

Old Yella potters along in the traffic quite well, even behaves itself whilst festering at the traffic lights. Once clear of the urban sprawl it clears its lungs and starts to enjoy the scenery

Took both RGS's out for a megarideout yesterday with a friend.  Brilliant.
Just cleaned the Red RGS and the Black Corsa today, drained the float bowls and disconnected the battery's and laid them up for the winter.

Don't powder coat it Cosi. Epoxy paint gives a better finish and is more durable. It's also more easily repairable if you chip it.

Terry, you are on the ball mate. Wrap 'em in cotton wool buds so the family can't mess with them over the cold months.

Drikks, 'laid them up for winter' is not an odd term in the Queens English language. I guess this proves you are an alien, but maybe not a queen.

+1 for that - powder coat seems like an easy option, but can turn out to be a right pain. Epoxy is far better and has a much more natural look too, as powder coat can look a little brash...

fitted choke cables,lots of fiddling,finally hooked up to lever,turned it ok, then ping,bleeding nipple pulls off the new cable in the splitter.!!

Back from a couple of weeks hols in sunny Italy 8)
Received the Jota frame back from the powder coaters (again) today after having the missing grab handle replaced (thanks Grant) and the whole lot re-coated. Rear mudguard professionally polished too.
Now to start assembly (again)!

Peeked under the cover to see that the RGS still lives. It's ready to rock when the feckin rain stops....

.. returned back fom a trip to Europe <sometimes family require them>.. went to see the SF in the lockup: gave me that hangdog look and positively growled at me until I switched off the choke and he/she (not sure yet!) positively purred.. nice one Red!
