I'd actually really like a proper tool post grinder attachment and then I could do finer stuff. I think I originally tried the angle grinder to cut needle rollers shorter with accuracy for some custom thing or another. I've also done quite a few rubber shaping using the thin cutoff wheel. My old Makita isn't super rigid but it does the trick.
No way I'd try a warped disc - there's too much potential movement when it hits the high spots and it would chatter. A more solidly mounted one might be ok.
