had a great runout to the Huntsman pub last night in superb weather, so hot in fact that I could'nt be bothered to put on leathers and rode in jeans and chelsea boots, (first tme in years and years) I didnt like the feel, and the vulnerability, bearing in mind I had a very close call ten days ago, when I ripped open my heavy combat boots and gouged the alternator cover as well, the ride was spoiled a tad (microseconds) by a back patch club some of which were HA and all on Hardly Ablesons, (all of which looked matt black, oily and grotty) when I fltered to the front of a set of red lights (I was going straight on) I saw "the bros" the other side also waiting, with no idea of their inteneded direction, on green I moved forward and they did the same trying to force a right turn in front of me, I didnt hesitate and they stopped, there was some exchange of abuse, and they turned to their right behind me but in front of the six cars also on my side, this "we are kings and in charge" attitude bugs me, somone tell them the only captains are in the army, and if they realy are what they purport to be why stop on red?
good night at the pub with the usual reprobates, and I had the best ever ploughmans! two pints and two virgin marys, excellent. On the way home, main roads, by pass etc this time, two pocket rockets shot out of a lay by behind me, I was doing something like 70, maybe 80 and they flew by me and up the hill, not many cars about but I saw the antics of high speed, cornering and vehicle encumberance, as they scatterred to the left and right of slower moving traffic, from about half a mile distance, I genuinly thought that, oh god here we go bodies and wreckage just roubd the corner, but no they were away and gone, but they must have shat themselves, oh dear what a shame!
