Circumnavigation of Oz take 2

Hats doffed to you Aussies. We having upper 30 degree temps in the UK at the moment and riding in kit ain't too pleasant. Must seem pretty tame for you guys? Good on ya - enjoying seeing photos of your trip, from the other side of the world.

Fortunately it's sthn hemi winter and temps will be perfect for moto travelling up north where Marty & co are headed, Haggis. Never fun riding in Oz extreme heat, but sometimes you just have to endure it - OK once moving, but in urban areas I hate it (and resort to cycling to get around) - it must be a huge shock to the system for you lot in old blighty - 40 deg in London! Yikes . The climate change sceptics might be warming to the idea about now (my own little witticism )

Roma is the start of the straight roads country, pulled in with 600ml of fuel left. Extra weight has a detrimental effect on fuel economy. Now only getting around 260-270 to a tank. Only used around 200 ml of oil in the first 2000km
